While, a blended scotch is a mix of both malt whiskies and grain whiskies, sourced from several different distilleries. The most blended Scotch whisky is made with single grain Scotch whisky. Scotch whiskey is stored in old barrels for years. Scotch whiskey must be aged in oak barrels for a minimum of three years. Thus, for a whisky enthusiast to get the taste of Scotch, it must come from Scotland. Scotch whisky is the world’s favorite whisky.
